Hi Rich
Thanks very much for the CD - it really is excellent. If you
have a mailing list for future releases, I would very much like
to be on it.
Best regards
Paul Williams

Rich,
Over the past few days I've been browsing a lot of the Post-Industrial Cybr-Depot
CD. Incredible! Unlike a lot of other sample cd's that nearly create your
melodies for you and the drone/noise cd's that are hard to fit in anywhere
without sounding like an Einsturzende Neubaten tribute band, this is perfect for
creating original, non-mainstream industrial dance. It's the perfect mix
for me - you create the hypercool sounds, I create the music around them.
Thanks, man. This is now my all-time favorite sample CD.
It will be all over the next tracks I'm recording.

Been playing with your cd some more.
As I get more into it I'm even more impressed.
Must have been a LOT of work.
Yeah, the velocity>amp / filter response was worth it.
Something sure made the filters work better than any other sampled
synth
stuff I have. As good as using the virus, Z1, nord, 777...
BEST use of an ms20 I've ever heard!
You really know your way around that one.
Great Drum Kits, basses, gtr...
OK, just had to thank you one more time for all your work.
I've been playing over 20 years, and must say "if you only buy one
sample
cd, GET THIS ONE!"
best,
Robert

Hi,
Just received my copy this morning. To be as short as possible, that's
simply one of the most valuable additions to my rather large sample library.
A must have for anyone interested in electronic music, and even more
importantly (and that's why I post this to the list) quite a good starting
point for anyone interested in getting more skills in programming an EOS
sampler in its full potential. Definitely one of the best programming I've
seen in the E-MU world.
Best,
Andy

Rich,
I am just blown away by your discs! These are by
far the most useful banks of stuff I have bought at this point. Besides being
a composer here at Dolby, I am a studio percussionist, and will be using some
of your bizzare kits for my outside work as well.
Any more that I need to get?

Hey Rich,
I recieved the sample cd
yesterday, well packed, and in good shape.
Wow! I really am impressed. This has more
usable stuff than any other disk I have--Worth putting on the E5K hard drive!
Will use this for a long time. My only complaint is the volume
levals of some are SO much hotter than others. Can really make ya jump
when quickly auditioning what's there. Awsome. Well worth the $.
Thanx again,
Robert
Tweak:
Thanks very much Robert, for
your comments. It was a lot of work. Now that
it'as over, it's hard to believe I did it. I fought that volume level
issue
pretty hard to make them consistent near the end of the project. The
velocity-> amp parameter is usually set to a negative value on many emu cd
roms, but I found putting it in positive territory gave the filters a more
analog 'grit', and bite, the tradeoff being controller 7 stays loud on some
of the harder tweaks till you get down around 30, but the controllers (like
filter cutoff and resonance) enjoy a stronger throw. Thanks again!

Hi Rich,

There are alot of interesting patches, and I'm sure I
can use some of them in my future music.

Hi Rich. I am highly impressed with the post indie CD. I am now
eagerly looking forward to your next collection. I would love to hear what you
could do with predominantly real drum kit sounds. I think I saw on
your website that you do take on specific sound design jobs, if so - how
much do you charge?

Rich
I got a chance last night at around 2AM to slide the disk into the tray and go
to town .... All I can say is WOW! I have to
say this is probably the BEST sample CD produced by anyone, anywhere, ever ....
it's that good. Of course I did not have time to go
through all 987 Patches! You are insane!
But what a wealth of AWESOME stuff! I could gig with
just this one CD for years and never even touch all the useful stuff in there.
You are a mad genius! Some great attributes of the disk are the
wealth of material and variety, the awesome use of EOS filters and processing to
make every sound sound like a creamy dream of processed love, and the great
mapping and stuff that makes the presets such a joy to just play!
It's really incredible work man-- and my E4XT has NEVER sounded so good. I will
eat this disk up for months and years to come and will recommend to EVERYONE I
speak to about it.
I will report more later -- but wanted to give you my initial impressions
of ecstasy.
I bow down!
