Signal Flow

in an Simple Studio,  Mixerless Approach

Review

This is a review, but this time with pics of gear.  Get used to the idea of figuring out signal flows.  So here's the basic 3 types of signal flows you will have in your studio.  MIDI, analog audio and digital audio.

The simple mixerless studio will require a more powerful computer as this system records and generates all sounds in the computer.  You need a fast CPU, large, fast drives and a lot of memory to get a decent track count.  It can be done on laptops, but you may not get many tracks.
